In 1998 Soleilmoon Recording asked Bryn Jones some tracks more close to the electronic, hip hop and dub scene with the goal of reaching a slightly different audience than his usual.
He delivered a 90 minutes DAT with 13 magnificent breakbeat hip hop and illbient dub tracks from which they released in August 1998 the Uzi Mahmood single 12" with only tracks 1, 5, 8 and 13.
This album was released only in 2009 and contains all tracks.

This material, as a whole, I think constituted Bryn Jones most accessible material released to date. It has all the elements of his standard repertoire - crunchy noises, distorted tablas, vaguely arabic sounding voices that you can just make out, interesting tape loops, but it's also very melodic and many of the beats could have come from a battle record.

All in all a very strong effort. I suspect this wax will be extremely sought after in the future.
