Great sounding reissue with gorgeous red vinyl and huge poster inside. A very 80's remix album which was ahead of it's time back in '87 but managed to include some classic remixes from Jellybean and She Pettibone who manage to re-invent some classic tracks.

Beautiful release both visually and sonically. There's one strange thing on my copy - in Into The Groove (B2), right after the instrumental piano break there's a few second dip in volume. It goes back to normal loudness after those few seconds but I thought it's a bit odd. Other than that - flawless.

Great Sound! It was probably reissued and pressed from the original tapes because it sounds great! The new red color is awesome. Glad they thought or adding something new to this reissue. A+. I completely recommend!

Well I'm glad that they did 12000 copies so that everybody who wants one can easily get one. Doing 1000 for some artists like ABBA is totally ridiculous and a scalpers charter.

I'm not complaining. I would rather it have a large pressing so anyone who wants one can get it rather than having scalpers get them all. No one wants to have to pay hundreds of dollars for scarce record.

12,000 is not a very low figure for a vinyl record in 2018. High sales figures from the 1980s during her commercial peak aren't really comparable to the modern reissue market...

@ vinyl67 From wiki: "You Can Dance was a commercial success, earning a platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for shipment of a million copies, and reaching the top twenty of the Billboard 200. It reached the top ten of the album charts of France, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway and the United Kingdom, and went on to sell five million copies worldwide, 12,000 is a very low figure when it comes to such a big industry name.

Back in the days, I think that she sold minimum 12,000 copies of this album in Sweden alone.

cdfreak1 He was trying to imply 12000 isnt exactly limited. One could argue Madonna has millions of fans and 12000 isn’t a lot based on that.. but, yeah: 12000 should be enough to insure this release isn’t instantly rare. Yes, that was my point, thanks for that explanation. Anyway it seems there are more than enough to go round, Don't pay rip off prices!!!
